– WITH A PARTNER OR SPOUSE: If you don’t yet share a common sport or fitness activity, find one! For instance, take tennis lessons together, rent mountain bikes, or join a local hiking club.
– WITH PARENTS AND OLDER RELATIVES: You can’t beat walking for an intergenerational activity.
– WITH CHILDREN: Consider activities and facilities where everyone can have a shared experience yet also exercise at his or her own level. For example, with children who can swim on their own, you can go to a pool, spending some of the time swimming together and some of the time swimming separately.
